Statement

I always feel nostalgic on New Years Eve. There is something tragically romantic about being alone on the eve of a new beginning. At the same time, however there is profound hope. Maybe you missed the love of your life at one time? New Years always gives you that opportunity to try again. This mini-musical explores how a romantic memory can prompt you to try again.

Though I came from a family where no one I had ever known of had pursued a career in the performing arts, I knew that I wanted to be an actor at the age of 6. I grew up for a while in Dallas, TX, then relocated with my family to San Angelo, TX at the age of 10. I attended public school where my hunger for theatre was made even more ravenous by some inspiring instructors.
I owe so much to my parents, who encouraged me to pursue whatever made me happy.  I spent a few very happy years at Belmont University, from which I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. I am currently spending 9 months with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre; assisting with New Play Development, educating, and most importantly, performing.
